Fireman dies on sixth night of rioting in France

A FIREMAN tackling a vehicle blaze has died during a sixth consecutive night of rioting across France

Dorian Damelincourt, 24, was part of an emergency operation in Saint-Denis, a troubled northern suburb of Paris.

Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said: "Overnight, while fighting against a blaze involving several vehicles in an underground car park, a young corporal-chief died despite very rapid treatment by his teammates."

Some £1million has been raised for the family of policeman Florian M, whose alleged murder of an ethnic minority teenager sparked the rioting.
