Unsettled Verstappen hints at a life beyond F1 as he takes 24-hour drive

MAX VERSTAPPEN confirmed he will compete in another major race outside of Formula One this year, as fears mount over his long-term future.

The Dutchman has signed up to drive at the Nurburgring 24 Hours race in May - in a Mercedes GT car.

It does not clash with an F1 race and it certainly does not mean Verstappen is quitting Red Bull any time soon.

But it does indicate he is looking more at what his life will be like after F1, especially as he clearly dislikes the new generation of cars.
