Dying Bill helps talks about death

THE assisted dying Bill has helped up to 21 million people speak more openly about a bereavement, research has suggested.

The legislation, which faces a second reading in the House of Lords on Friday, has sparked a national conversation about dying and end-of-life wishes.

Of 2,000 people surveyed for Coop Funeralcare, over two-fifths had debated the Bill with family.
