Duchess dropped by seven charities over Epstein email

SEVEN charities severed ties with Sarah, Duchess of York, yesterday after an email revealed she had called convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein her “supreme friend”.

Children’s hospice Julia’s House was the first to drop Prince Andrew’s ex-wife as patron yesterday, saying it was “inappropriate” for her to continue.

This was shortly followed by similar announcements from the Children’s Literacy Charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust, the Natasha Allergy Research Foundation and Prevent Breast Cancer. The British Heart Foundation also ended its association.

The National Foundation for Retired Service Animals also confirmed it had dropped the duchess. Signings for her new children’s picture book, Flora & Fern, Kindness Along The Way, have also been cancelled.
