Chad's fundraising drive after brain tumour battle

A MAN who had part of his skull removed after being diagnosed with a rare brain tumour is on a fundraising mission - with help from his inspirational mother. Chad Nelson, 21, was just 17 when he started getting headaches and blurred vision.

He was eventually diagnosed with a rare low-grade tumour called a ganglioglioma.

Chad underwent four operations and the ordeal has left him with short-term memory loss and a strict medication regime.

Now Chad and his mother Lucy, from Torquay, Devon, are fundraising for Brain Tumour Research.
