Silva warns rivals City's best is still to come
BERNARDO SILVA has fired an ominous warning to Manchester City's rivals by insisting their best is still to come this season.
Pep Guardiola's side overcame Galatasaray to reach the Champions League last 16 and remain in the hunt for trophies on all four fronts.
Guardiola has bought 12 new players in the past 13 months to rebuild his team after City failed to win a major trophy last season.
Silva admits it has taken some of the "new blood" time to settle in and get used to the tactics and demands of Guardiola. But he reckons City will only get stronger as the season reaches the final stages.
The Portuguese midfielder said: "Yeah, it's pretty clear that the club decided to go for the renovation of the squad.
