Bag in the right hands after 30 years

A WOMAN has been reunion with a handbag stolen from her 30 years ago after it was found washed up on a beach.

The small black bag was taken from Audrey Hay's former workplace while she was out of the office in the 1990s.

Audrey, now 81, said the thief pilfered cash held inside believed to be £240 - before throwing it into the River Don in Aberdeen.

Three decades later, Maisie Coutts, 11, was walking by the mouth of the Don when she noticed the battered but still intact bag in the sand and picked it up.
