Anne pays tribute to head who fled Nazis

THE Princess Royal has paid tribute to the man who fled the Holocaust to found Gordonstoun, her father's and brothers' old school.
Kurt Hahn, a German Jew, left his homeland for Scotland in 1933 after speaking out about the Nazis' rise to power.
He would soon settle in Moray, opening the school in 1934.
The late Prince Philip was one of the first students.
