Amanda: BBC abandoned me in Strictly row

TEARFUL Amanda Abbington says she felt abandoned by BBC bosses during the Strictly bullying row - and claims there are 50 hours of "toxic" video footage they will not let her see.

The Sherlock actress clashed with pro partner Giovanni Pernice, and her allegations about his behaviour are being investigated for a BBC report.

In her first TV interview since the scandal broke, Amanda, 50, told Channel 4 News: "I went into it thinking 'It's going to be hard work. I'm a grafter, but there will also be time to have a laugh'.

"I've been in rehearsal rooms all my life, so I know what they're like.

"But I didn't know I was letting myself in for that. I can't go into too many details about it because the complaint is ongoing.
