TV host Alison Hammond is reduced to fits of laughter as the new season of The Great British Bake Off hits our screens and the contestants make animal-themed cakes.
The new presenter admitted: "I've never crumbled to the floor as quickly." Ahead of tomorrow's opening, she said her helpless mirth during the showstopper task was sparked by judge Prue Leith.
"I particularly loved a moment where someone made a beaver cake. It was hilarious," explained Alison.
"And then Prue was stepping forward and saying, "Tell me about your beaver'.
