40,000 migrants have landed since Rishi became PM

MORE than 40,000 migrants have crossed the English Channel since Rishi Sunak became Prime Minister, figures show.
The milestone was hit as some 401 asylum seekers were detected on Monday - the highest daily total this year. They were crammed into seven boats, meaning each dinghy held an average of 57 people.
