£1m winner to buy 'best quality of life’ for dying husband

A CARER who won a £1million lottery prize hopes a spacious new bungalow will make her terminally ill husband's life easier.

Marlyn Anderson, 70, and Ian, 77, live in the front room of their house due to the round-the clock treatment he needs for lung disease.

She says their current home in Stirling is "like a bedsit" but their EuroMillions good fortune should buy him a better quality of life.

Married for 32 years, the couple have two children, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

They gave up foreign holidays after Ian's diagnosis of pulmonary fibrosis, which he believes is linked to asbestos exposure from working on construction sites.

They have already bought an automatic car with the winnings after Marlyn bought a lucky dip ticket online.
