Work starts on town's £38m leisure 'hub'
Cynon Valley Leader
|May 29, 2025
CONSTRUCTION work has started on a new £38m leisure and wellbeing hub in Caerphilly.
-
When completed, the two-storey timber-clad building will house a six-lane swimming pool, a health suite, studios and squash courts.
It will also include a cafe, an adventure play facility, lounge area, two flexible consultation rooms and a dedicated social space for use by community groups.
It is being built on disused scrub land and is scheduled to open in spring 2027.
