Museum gets donation from housebuilder

NANTWICH Museum has received a £500 donation from David Wilson Homes to help support its work to preserve and celebrate the town's unique history.

Founded in 1980 by the Nantwich Civic Society and the Nantwich Historical Society, the museum now houses a collection of over 5,000 artefacts that showcase the rich heritage of the town, from its importance as a salt-making centre to its pivotal role in the English Civil War.
