Anger and confusion as park says dinosaur event not taking place

Tickets went on sale despite event never being confirmed
FAMILIES are furious after being told a dinosaur-themed event they had booked tickets for this autumn “is not taking place”.
The Lost Kingdom was due to arrive at Tatton Park next month as part of a UK tour.
But while events have gone ahead in the other locations - including Glasgow and London - it has now been confirmed the Cheshire event is not happening.
Tickets were still on sale on the official website last week, via ticket provider Fever, which said at the time it had not had any confirmation that the event has been called off.
But bosses at Tatton Park say the event was never confirmed at the site. It also claims that despite being told the organiser would close down its website, that hasn’t been done.
The park took the unusual step of issuing a public notice on Facebook alerting people to the situation. It said: “We're aware of promotions for The Lost Kingdom, an outdoor family experience featuring lifelike dinosaurs, due to take place 18 October - 2 November at Tatton Park.
“Please note: this event is not taking place at Tatton Park and is not organised by us. We therefore recommend you do not purchase tickets for this event. If you have already booked tickets, please contact your ticket pro-
