THE whirlwind visit of Nigel Farage proved to be not your average Tuesday at a Bedworth social club.

Gill Hodgekins, manager at the Saunders Club said she was asked about the possibility of hosting the Reform leader two weeks ago - but it was only confirmed just 48 hours ago.
The regulars in the main bar were blissfully unaware as people started to fill the function room on April 22.
“We've not had anything like this before, not a leader of a political party,” said Gill who has run the club for 14 years
