SIR Keir Starmer promised to “stand up for our values and our future” at the UN Cop30 summit as he hailed a series of investment deals for clean power in the UK.
The Prime Minister will pitch the UK as a world leader on climate action at the gathering in Belem, Brazil, where he will use a speech to make the economic case for green energy today. It comes as Downing Street announced new investment from companies including Scottish Power, JERA Nex bp and EnBW for offshore wind and battery storage projects across Britain.
