MP drops legal threat over feud with Corbyn

ZARAH Sultana announced she will halt legal action she said she was taking over a bitter dispute at the top of the party she is founding with Jeremy Corbyn.

The Coventry South MP acknowledged that people felt “demoralised” following the controversy over her push for members to join Your Party, the political group she founded with the former Labour leader.

Ms Sultana, who had alleged she was up against a “sexist boys’ club’”, stated she was “determined to reconcile” and was in discussions with Mr Corbyn.

She said: “For the sake of the party, and as an act of good faith, I will not be pursuing legal proceedings despite the baseless and unsubstantiated allegations against me,” she penned in a statement posted on X.

“I know many people are feeling demoralised - I share that feeling.
