Give a dog a fur-ever home this new year

DOG is man’s best friend, or so the old saying goes, and these canines want to find a new family full of pals they can love and care for in 2026.

Thousands of dogs are given up or abandoned each year, and thankfully we have local charities that come to their aid to try and find them suitable new homes.

The Coventry and District Branch of the RSPCA and Dogs Trust Kenilworth are just two such charities desperate to match a pooch with the right family - we've listed some of them below.

Arrow - RSPCA Coventry said: “Arrow is our big bouncy boy who came into us through no fault of his own. As he is still young and energetic, Arrow will need his own private and secure garden with 6ft-plus fencing to play and zoom around in. Arrow could live with children aged 10-plus that are used to big bouncy dogs.”
