COVENTRY City are three weeks into their preseason as they prepare for their first full campaign under the guidance of Frank Lampard.

- By ANDY TURNER Sky Blues Reporter

The Sky Blues have been relatively slow going in the transfer market so far, having made just two new signings in 23-year-old Spanish left-back Miguel Angel Brau, who has joined from Granada on a four-year deal, and 22-year-old Aston Villa right-back Kaine Kesler-Hayden who has signed for a reported fee in excess of £3.5million.

Supporters are still waiting for City’s recruitment to ramp up in line with the club’s Championship rivals as the summer window gets into full swing ahead of the 2025/26 programme. Here we take a look at what’s going on in and around the club.

Frank on season ticket uptake

The Sky Blues have sold over 23,500 season tickets so far this summer, having set a cap of 24,000 for the 2025/26 campaign.

Frank Lampard commented: “It excites me. I followed it, I know the work the club does and the work we do on the pitch, the fans want to be excited by the team that represents them on the pitch and hopefully they felt that last season.
