ONE of Coventry's ‘best 24-hour gyms’ has been nominated for a national award. Apollo Gym, located on Arches Industrial Estate in Spon End, is up for Best Strength Gym of the Year by the National Fitness Association.

Apollo Gym is one of the ‘longest-standing independent gyms’ in the city. Bosses say they are proud to have ‘one of the best atmospheres’ in the UK by offering a friendly and welcoming environment where members become ‘part of the family’.

The gym was also awarded Gym of the Year in 2023 by NFM UK, which started in 2017 as a one-off show but has now expanded to become one of the top bodybuilding and fitness shows, featuring categories ranging from men's beach body to women's figure toned.
