Despite a previous sentence for offences against the same victim, Jonathon Champion continued to target her and make her life a misery
A STALKER who terrorised his former partner after she dumped him has been jailed.
Jonathon Champion, 52, and formerly of Callington, ignored a restraining order which was in place against the woman by contacting her on Facebook and asking other people to monitor her.
Champion pleaded guilty to harassment causing alarm and distress and breaching a restraining order. The court heard how Champion repeatedly targeted the victim since she ended their relationship.
In 2024, he was convicted of similar crimes against the same woman and a restraining order was put in place.
Champion was prohibited from contacting the woman directly and indirectly, as well as attending her address.
