Health worry as pair make super start in epic race

Fin and Sioned, who were 18 and 19 at the time of recording, opened up on camera about their relationship and Fin’s health battle.

In the first episode of season five of the travel competition, the pair finished second in the first section of the race.

Along the way they had a few hurdles, however - and these included Fin’s sugar levels dropping, as he suffers with type one diabetes.

The childhood sweethearts opened up about Fin’s health as they travelled through China racing to the first checkpoint of the competition.
