THERE was a successful day for Llanelli athletes at the Welsh School Championships in Aberdare.

Darcy Coslett won the under-17 women’s 300 metre title. She improved on her season’s best with a time of 38.41 seconds, finishing almost three seconds ahead of the next athlete.
Coslett smashed her PB in the 200m with a time of 24.27, finishing second against stiff competition.
Joseph Franklin also delivered an outstanding performance alongside some of UK's best athletes in a high-quality 100m, finishing in 10.81.
