US expects completion of 1st B61-13 nuclear bomb unit ahead of schedule - Nuclear Agency

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) anticipates the delivery of the first production unit of the B61-13 nuclear bomb as soon as this month, a year sooner than planned, NNSA Acting Administrator Teresa Robbins said on Wednesday.

"Additionally, NNSA anticipates achieving the first production unit for the B 61-13 later this month, almost a full year ahead of schedule," Robbins said during a congressional hearing.
