THREE METHODS OF CHECK, CLEAN AND COVER SHOULD BE FOLLOWED TO PREVENT DENGUE : Dr. V. SUJATHA, DM&HO

To celebrate NATIONAL DENGUE DAY District Medical and Health Officer Dr. V. Sujatha organized a National Dengue Day awareness rally from DM&HO office to Gupta Park, Santpet, after which human chain and pledge programs were organized in the premises of the District Medical and Health Office.

Speaking at the event, District Medical and Health Officer Dr. V. Sujatha said that dengue is spread from one person to another through the bite of a female Aedes aegypti mosquito. It has symptoms like eye pain, pain behind the eye, redness of the eyes, muscle aches, hair loss, round red spots on the skin, and severe fever with vomiting. The symptoms of the disease appear in 7 to 10 days due to this mosquito that bites during the day.
