The World Blood Donor Day program was held at the Indian Red Cross Society Potti ramulu Nellore District Branch on 15-06-2025 under the auspices of Red Cross Chairman Vakati Vijaya Kumar Reddy. First, Chairman Vijaya Kumar Reddy, Treasurer Suresh Kumar Jain, Blood Center Advisor and Managing Committee Member Malireddy Kota Reddy, Managing Committee Members Dasari Rajendra Prasad, Kaliki hari Reddy, Blood Center Convener C. H Ajay Babu, lit the lamp and garlanded the portrait of Henry Dunant and paid tribute.

On this occasion, former Chairman Dr. A. V. Subrahmanyam explained the importance of blood donation through a power point presentation. On this occasion, Red Cross Managing Committee Member Dasari Rajendra Prasad said that the Nellore Red Cross Blood Bank has been modernized and the blood bank has been made available with all the facilities.
