Telangana forms SIT to probe morphed CM images, IAS defamation cases

Hyderabad : The State government on Tuesday constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe two ‘sensitive’ cases registered at Maddur police station of Narayanpet district and the Central Crime Station (CCS) Hyderabad.

The first case pertains to the circulation of morphed and derogatory images of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. A Congress leader, Golla Narasimha, had made a complaint at Maddur police station, following which a case was registered by the police on January "11 against some persons.
