Telangana : DGC constituted for Jubilee Hills bye-election

As part of the arrangements for the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency bye-election, the District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner, R V Karnan, has constituted a District Grievance Committee (DGC) in accordance with the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.

The committee has been set up to handle complaints, monitor cash seizures, and ensure strict adherence to the Model Code of Conduct throughout Hyderabad district. It will also oversee the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for Flying Squad Teams and Static Surveillance Teams to curb the movement of unaccounted cash and valuables during the election period.
