In a major boost to the farming community of Khammam district, the Telangana government has given the green signal for the establishment of a new market yard at Mathikapalli village.

This initiative comes as a result of the persistent efforts of Agriculture Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao, who advocated for improved market access for farmers in the region. The proposed market yard will serve farmers from Chintakani and Mudigonda mandals, and will be formed through the bifurcation of the existing Khammam and Nelakondapalli market yards.
