Celebrating Betrayal to Farmers? Former ZPTC Slams Congress Over “Rythu Celebrations"

Former ZPTC Member Ramsahayam Srinivas Reddy has lambasted the Congress government for what he called a “shameful celebration in the name of farmers” despite having failed to deliver on key promises made to the agricultural community.

Addressing a press meet held at the Tadvai mandal headquarters, Mr. Srinivas Reddy criticized the Congress party's “Rythu Bharosa celebrations” as a betrayal to farmers across Telangana. “Back then, KCR offered Rythu Bandhu to every acre of land cultivated. Now, Revanth Reddy is offering Rythu Bharosa for every vote. Do farmers only matter during elections?” he questioned. He challenged the government to account for what it has done for farmers in the past 18 months, accusing it of deceiving them. “Is it worth celebrating just because four instalments of Rythu Bharosa were released?
