Family pet survives scorpion sting

A BELOVED German shepherd's life was saved by the team of veterinarians at the Animal Welfare Society of South Africa (AWS) after it was bitten by a poisonous scorpion while playing in his garden.
According to AWS, the dog, named Ringo, collapsed and began having seizures.
He was rushed to AWS where he was treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
“Ringo, a handsome 4-year-old German shepherd, was happily playing in his garden when tragedy struck without warning,’ AWS explained.
