TUNBRIDGE SAYS THERE IS MORE TO COME FROM HARRIS' SQUAD
CAMBRIDGE United chief executive Alex Tunbridge believes that the club will be "stronger in the second half of this season" as the squad continues to gel.
The U's opted to rebuild their side following relegation from League One last term, with 11 signings made and 14 players being released.
United currently sit tenth in the League Two table, on 26 points from 17 matches played, heading into tomorrow's clash at home to eighth-placed Crewe Alexandra.
Reflecting on the start to the season, Tunbridge told his club: "I think from a first-team perspective, we're about where we thought we'd be.
"When we made the changes we made last January and February, with Neil (Harris) coming back and Bonz (Mark Bonner), it was always really with one clear goal, which was not to be relegated if we went into League Two into the National League. We feel we've done enough so far to hopefully ensure that doesn't happen.
