HOME is where the heart is, and for more than two thirds of us, it is also where our second-hand furniture finds are.
In a recent poll for the British Heart Foundation, 70% of people revealed they now regularly shop second hand, with furniture and homeware proving increasingly popular with Gen R - a new generation of shoppers embracing the ‘reuse, recycle, renew’ way of life.
Leading the way is actor and businesswoman Kimberly Hart Simpson, retail ambassador for the British Heart Foundation.
“My house is full of pre-loved charity shop finds,” says the ex-Coronation Street star.
