PC filmed repeatedly punching man is not guilty of assault

A NORTH Wales Police officer filmed repeatedly punching a man has been cleared by a jury of assaulting him.
PC Richard Williams, 43, of North Wales Police, was also found not guilty at Caernarfon Crown Court on Thursday of intentional strangulation.
He'd denied the offences after footage emerged of an arrest outside a property in Porthmadog in May 2023.
PC Williams said he felt justified in the actions he took during the arrest, which was filmed by a neighbour.
