The largest cold storage facility powered by artificial intelligence (AI) was officially opened for operation last week inside the Floirendo-owned industrial estate to help narrow the gap in cold storage chain network across Mindanao, the Damosa Land Inc. has announced, saying that the facility was jointly put up by its sister company with one of the largest cold storage operations in the country.

- Manuel T. Cayon

The Damosa said its sister company, AC Logistics “celebrates with GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corp. as it launched its third and largest cold-storage facility in Mindanao at the Anflo Industrial Estate [AIE] in Panabo City, Davao del Norte.”

“The new facility brings together advanced logistics and cold-chain expertise to strengthen the Philippines'food supply and export capabilities,” it said.

The facility inside the industrial estate in Panabo City, Davao del Norte is the third and largest facility of GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corp. Its facility here has 11,728 pallet positions, equivalent to almost 12 million kilograms, to increase its total storage capacity to 17,000 pallets including its first storage facility in Tablon, Cagayan de Oro City, with 5,348 pallets, anda smaller storage of 300 pallets in its GMAC Zamboanga facility.
