Pupils win new bikes in road safety competition

POSTER CAMPAIGN ORGANISED BY DISTRICT COUNCIL AND POLICE
CHILDREN are celebrating after winning top prizes in a road safety competition organised by North West Leicestershire District Council in partnership with the police.
The competition challenged pupils from Albert Village Community Primary School to design eye-catching road safety signs encouraging motorists to slow down near schools and residential areas.
Pupils impressed judges with creative and hard-hitting designs focused on protecting pedestrians and cyclists.
