DEMANDS ISSUED AS GOVERNMENT SET TO UNVEIL PACKAGE OF HOSPITALITY SUPPORT

- By MAIL REPORTER

Pub's 3 point survival plan

AN East Staffordshire country pub has made three demands for the great British institution to survive against 'the unfair tax burden.

The Autumn Budget was met with a fierce backlash last year as many landlords banned Labour MPs.

The current business rates discount on hospitality ends March 31, but UK Hospitality predicted the planned scheme would further increase business rates by 15% on average. However, the Labour government is expected to U-turn on this decision and provide pubs with much-needed support and reliefs.
