Prisoners' art on show to boost rehabilitation

ART lovers are being invited to an exhibition in Burton showcasing award-winning artwork created by inmates at HMP Dovegate as part of the prison's rehabilitation programme.

The exhibition, titled Drawing Toward Tomorrow, will run for six weeks from Thursday, January 22, at the Brewhouse Arts Centre.

Each piece on display will reflect themes of resilience, growth and hope, with artists exploring the belief that tomorrow can be different from today.

The show features work entered into the prestigious Koestler Arts Awards, including pieces that have achieved Platinum status at the national level.
