Defender wants to see start of fresh winning run
Burton Mail
|December 03, 2025
BREWERS defender Alex Hartridge says the players are treating their defeat to Leyton Orient as an opportunity to kick off a new unbeaten run - just like they did after Plymouth.
-
Argyle put four past them at the Pirelli, as Orient did on Saturday, and Hartridge has backed his teammates to replicate another run which saw them go to places like Cardiff and Bradford and pick up all three points.
Albion are not unfamiliar to being written off and have proven people wrong all season so Hartridge sees no reason why they cannot continue to do so.
Speaking ahead of last night's game at Wigan, he explained: "It was a result and a performance very similar to this that kicked off our run when we played Plymouth so it’s just an opportunity for us to do the same again and that's the only way we can look at it."
