Decisions go against but Burton fell short, boss knows

GARY Bowyer was adamant that Lincoln City's winning goal on Saturday involved a foul on goalkeeper Kamil Dudek and that Burton Albion should have had a penalty for handball just before halftime.

But the Brewers boss also acknowledged the shortcomings his side are currently struggling with and says they have to stick together to overcome them.

Albion had 65% of the ball against Lincoln but scarcely troubled goalkeeper George Wickens as they fell to a disappointing 1-0 loss.

"If you look at the goal, there is a foul on the goalkeeper but I don't think we got anything off the officials, if I'm being brutally honest," said Bowyer.

"I've just watched the (other incident) back. Sonny Bradley was rolling on the ball, pulled it in under his arm and gave a good impression of a lad trying to go second phase on a try but somehow, miraculously, it became a free kick to them.

"But, that aside, it was obviously the fact that we haven't worked the goalkeeper enough or been clinical enough.
