Balloon race and fun day raised cash for hospital

IT was sun, fun and cash all the way at Burton Hospital Friends' Day and balloon race in July 1991 as more than £1,600 was raised.
Visitors to the event enjoyed a range of activities from the bottle, cake and plant stalls to a fairground and bouncy castle.
