Snooker ace forced to flee Dubai home

Bristol Post

March 24, 2026

BRISTOL snooker star Judd Trump has declared himself effectively homeless after fleeing his residence in Dubai amid escalating conflict in the Middle East.

The 36-year-old moved to the United Arab Emirates at the start of 2025 - citing lifestyle rather than tax reasons - but is now searching for a new base after military strikes impacted the region due to the Iranian conflict.

The former world champion is competing at the World Open in China and revealed he has temporarily relocated to Thailand to continue his practice.
