Macclesfield knocked out FA Cup holders Crystal Palace in the biggest giantkilling in the competition's history.A record 117 places separate the National League North outfit and Premier League aristocrats Palace.
Yet inspirational, bandaged-up captain Paul Dawson headed Macclesfield - managed by Wayne Rooney's brother John - into the lead two minutes before halftime.
Palace failed to muster a response before Isaac Buckley-Ricketts doubled the advantage on the hour, and although Yeremy Pino scored a 90th-minute free-kick Macclesfield held out for a famous victory.
