Knowle suffer shock defeat in tight tussle for the title

JUST four points separate the top four sides after another day of drama in the Bristol & North Somerset division.
Knowle began the day in pole position but ended it fourth following a 17-run reverse away to bottom side Bristol Pakistanis, as Soban Irfan (4-32 from 10 overs) and Umair Javed (3-39 from 9.4 overs) played starring roles.
Bristol West IndianPhoenix and Twyford House, meanwhile, both secured wins and are again tied on the same number of points at the top of the table with five more rounds of games to go.
BWIP closed out a 61-run victory away to Bristol 2nds, while Twyford chased down a target of 171 for a three-wicket triumph away to Pak Bristolians.
Mark Fowler and Nick Chantler grabbed three wickets apiece for the visitors before captain Parik Shetty's quickfire 47 from 25 balls gave the Twyford reply a turbocharged start.
