ROHAN Tarry says he was forced to sleep in his wheelchair in a hotel for three nights despite booking a room advertised as accessible.

Rohan Tarry has secondary progressive multiple sclerosis (MS) and uses a wheelchair.

Having not left his home in over a year, Rohan and his wife were looking forward to a three-day break for her birthday.

Mr Tarry says they booked an accessible room at The Bristol Hotel from August 27 to 29.

However, their break turned into a nightmare when they realised the room wasn’t accessible for his needs.

Mr Tarry ended up having to sleep in his wheelchair and unable to use the toilet, which “destroyed” the holiday.

Mr Tarry, 55 from Fishponds, said he felt “discriminated” against.

He continued: “We were supposed to have gone away to celebrate her birthday and to spend some nice time together and I had to sleep on my wheelchair for three nights.
