Football Struber: I'd love to work with Anis and Zak in the future

BRISTOL City must do “everything” to address the contract situations of players heading towards the end of their deals at Ashton Gate, Gerhard Struber insists, with the Robins boss admitting he “would love” to work with both Anis Mehmeti and Zak Vyner in the future.
Vyner and Mehmeti played crucial roles in the 3-0 win over Swansea City on Saturday lunchtime. Vyner started and helped keep a clean sheet from a dynamic left-sided centre-back position, while Mehmeti assisted all three goals as City secured a first win in four games and climbed back into the playoff places.
The 24-year-old curled an excellent corner on to the head of Rob Dickie after four minutes, before finding Emil Riis - who volleyed home - on the half-hour mark. Then, with less than 10 minutes left to play, Mehmeti sprung Swansea's backline with a smart through ball, which Yu Hirakawa calmly placed in the bottom left corner.
Both the Albanian winger and Vyner are entering the final months of their respective contracts in south Bristol, but City’s technical director, Brian Tinnion, confirmed at last month's fans forum that both players have been offered new deals.
