GLOUCESTERSHIRE start their defence of the T20 Vitality Blast title with a South Group game against Kent Spitfires at the Seat Unique Stadium, Bristol, tonight (7pm).

Australia international D'Arcy Short, pictured, is set to make his Gloucestershire debut. Dynamic with the bat and a capable wrist spinner, Short looks sure to prove an exciting replacement for fellow countryman Beau Webster, who featured in 13 of Gloucestershire’s 17 Blast matches last season. Aged 34, Short has represented his coun-
try 23 times in T20s and in eight ODIs, and takes his place in a Gloucestershire side set to contain his fellow Australian Cameron Bancroft, the club's red-ball skipper.
Kent will also have two Australians in their line-up, having recruited Wes Agar and Tom Rogers.
