Blackpool’s youngsters secured their spot in round two of this season’s FA Youth Cup with a 1-0 win at Carlisle United in midweek.

Billy Whaite’s 86th-minute goal settled matters in the Seasiders’ favour at Brunton Park on Tuesday.
A crowd of 529 saw Carlisle keeper Sam Worth use his feet to deny Shay Mannix early on before Amaru Smith twice tested the Seasiders' defence.
