St Mary's students look forward to their next steps

Students at St Mary's Catholic Academy Sixth Form are looking ahead to university after getting their A-level results.

Those studying Level 3 vocational courses achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in Cambridge vocational courses, with 69 per cent of grades at Distinction and 94 per cent at Merit or better.

Among the high-flying St Mary's students were Rico, McKenzie, Lucy and Karol, who achieved six A* and eight A grades between them.

Rico is headed to Leeds University to study medicine, McKenzie will attend York University to read psychology, Lucy will be studying film production at Salford and Karol will attend Oxford University to study medicine.
